An orientation programme is conducted at the beginning of every academic year. The management invites professionals to conduct interactive sessions on topics such as students’ behavioural management and class room management. This orientation programme goes a long way in nurturing the management skills present in each of our staff. These sessions are especially useful to new teachers.
Workshops are frequently held to train our staff to set good questions papers so as to test a child’s overall intelligence and not just memorising skills. The Principal uses her four decades of experience to personally review each and every question paper set.
Senior teachers guide junior teachers on the BMHS ethos of preparing notes for each class, checking notebooks, maintaining classroom decorum, choosing relevant activities, etc.
The staff at BMHS are encouraged to expand their horizons by taking up roles of their choice other than teaching such as organising events, conducting interviews for both new students and new staff, taking part in procurement of textbooks and stationery, representing BMHS at various government departments, etc.
