About the School

Expectations from students and their parents

  • Attendance at BMHS is a matter of great importance. Absence on account of any reason should be brought to the knowledge of the class teacher through the school office. A leave letter should be produced on the day of returning to the school.
  • Students must be in school before the first bell at 8.20 a.m. In the event of the student being late, the ‘Late Attendance Record’ should be signed by parent / guardian.
  • Good and respectful behaviour is expected from all students at all times. Senior students must set an example and be a role model to the younger students.
  • The full school uniform must be worn on all working days. Students are not allowed to wear accessories other than those which are part of the uniform.
  • Stickers/ tattoos of any kind should not be stuck on the belongings of the students/ body of the students.
  • Students are expected to participate in all co-curricular activities in order to achieve all-round development. Participation in the Annual Sports Meet, Talents’ Day, Inter-Class Competitions, Inter-House Games, Annual School Day and any other events of the school is compulsory.
  • Students should attempt all tests and examinations throughout the academic year.
  • The ‘Progress Report’ of the student has to be signed by the parent / guardian regularly. Parents must attend all the parent teacher meetings without fail.
  •  Students should give importance in maintenance of books, notebooks and the prescribed time table.
  • For their own safety, students are not allowed to bring expensive items, electronic gadgets, cash and precious jewellery to school.
  • Any damage done to school property must be made good by parent / guardian of the student.
  • Students are not allowed to see parents / guardians / visitors or to leave the school premises during the school hours without the prior permission of the Principal.
  • When a student is ill, he/ she should not be sent to school. This holds good for test and examination days also.
  • The parents are requested to not contact the staff outside the school premises. Any communication should be via appropriate official channels.
  • The parents should check their emails regularly for updates regarding examinations, assignments, time-tables, announcements and general news from the management.
