The school was established in the year 1983 by late Shri R. RANGASWAMY, an ardent disciple of Swami Vivekananda. He founded the school to put into action the following words of Swami Vivekananda –

“We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the
intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet.”

The one thing that sets B Mona High School apart from other schools is the emphasis on holistic education combined with the service-minded approach of the management and staff.

Holistic education means that equal emphasis is placed on the development of the mind, the body and the spirit. This is important so that we can provide the society with strong, capable and empathetic individuals who will take us forward, in the right direction.
