Development of the Mind
The holistic education programme at BMHS places equal emphasis on the development of the mind, the body and the spirit.
Spacious Classrooms equipped with SMART boards
Every class room is well ventilated, furnished and offers the right atmosphere for learning. The class rooms are provided with white boards, chart boards and SMART boards for illustrations, display of charts in order to see and learn.
Small Class Strength and Qualified Faculty

Learning by Doing – Science Lab and Terrace Garden
We make sure that children go beyond classroom learning. Learning by doing, making models and taking part in quiz competitions are some ways by which we achieve this. Our science lab and terrace garden are also valuable assets in this regard.
The science lab provides an atmosphere of experiencing and learning science under the professional guidance of able teachers.
Students exhibit their innovative, creative power through making models and performing experiments. Records are maintained by the students for their experiments, activities and projects.
The younger children especially enjoy their trips to the terrace garden where they learn about different kinds of plants, flowers and soils. They also enjoy watching the plants grow and bear fruits and flowers.
Digital Literacy
This generation of students enjoy learning through digital tools such as SMART boards. Learning becomes easy with the help of colourful illustrations and short animations.
Computer education is an integral part of the curriculum. A fully equipped computer lab provides digital literacy to students from class 4 onwards. The computer lab is also where we train the students to use information technology in a positive manner.
The students are trained to use computers with focus on application software like Paint and MS Office in addition to programming languages like LOGO, Q-Basic, C, C++ and HTML. Students are given hands-on experience to work on these applications which are required for day-to-day activities.
Library and Reading Room
The vast collection of reference books, periodicals and audio/video materials help the students as well as the teachers to get information on the required subject. The collection of reference books includes encyclopaedia, dictionaries, atlas and syllabus-based text books by different authors. Workbooks on subjects like Mathematics and Science are also available in the library for the students’ use. We try to inculcate in the students, the habit of going through reference books so that they can expand their knowledge on topics taught in the classes. The library is also equipped well with books such as fiction, autobiographies, sports and art. We encourage the students to read this during their leisure time.
